VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

House Volunteer – Help us in the office and around the house with day to day tasks. Must be 16 years of age or older, and willing to volunteer during office hours, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM.

Fundraising and Event Volunteer – Assist with the many fundraising projects and special events we have throughout the year - great for groups!

Hold A Fundraiser – Organizations, schools and clubs can designate RMHC as the recipient of their own fundraising event – i.e. dances, auctions, bake sales, etc.

Camp Success – Sign up to be a camp counselor or collect items off our camp wish list. Counselors must be 18 years or older, be CPR and First Aid certified, and able to spend one full week at camp.

Holiday Activities – Wrap gifts at Christmas, hold a toy drive, decorate the House, prepare gift bags and Easter baskets, cook holiday meals...and the list goes on and on!

Cook Dinner - Prepare and serve homemade meals for our families - great for groups and families. Groups cannot exceed 10. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Dinner Guidelines

“Let’s Do Lunch” Program - We depend on volunteers to prepare and deliver sack lunches to Sunrise Children’s Hospital and UMC’s children’s unit. Volunteers can also help by decorating lunch bags (great for kids) and donating lunch items off of the wish list.

Court Ordered Community Service – RMHC of Greater Las Vegas accepts court order community service volunteers on a case by case basis. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. We will not accept any volunteer convicted of a theft related crime (larceny, shoplifting, petty theft); child abuse; or sex crime.
